Commercial Appliance Technician

Are you a hands-on technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and solving problems in the field? Paramount Services Ltd. is looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Appliance Technician to join our growing team.
If you have experience in commercial appliances, electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC, equipment repair, automotive diagnostics, or mechanical maintenance, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Do:

Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial appliances and foodservice equipment.

Service commercial cooking equipment, beverage systems, and related equipment.

Install and commission new equipment to ensure reliable operation.
-
Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
-
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble equipment efficiently.
-
Use hand tools, power tools, gauges, meters, and diagnostic testing equipment safely and effectively.

Complete service reports and communicate clearly with customers and internal team members.
-
Travel to customer sites to perform service work as required.

Lift, move, and position equipment parts and components safely.

Participate in ongoing technical training to expand product knowledge and skills.
What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
2+ years of hands-on experience in appliance repair, electrical work, refrigeration, HVAC, automotive diagnostics, equipment service, or mechanical maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Mechanical aptitude with confidence using tools and testing equipment.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Ability to lift and maneuver equipment safely.

Since then, the company has evolved into a full-service equipment supply and facility maintenance company based from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our presence is focused in Manitoba but we have strong partnerships spanning coast-to-coast-to-coast across Canada. Paramount Services is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This hands-on role supports our warehouse, yard, and shop operations to keep everything running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Move materials, tools, and equipment where needed

Keep the warehouse, yard, shop, and parking areas clean and organized

Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory movement

Operate forklifts and other equipment (training/certification provided if required)

Complete basic paperwork and reports accurately

Support general repairs, maintenance, and outdoor upkeep

Previous labour, warehouse, yard, or construction experience preferred

Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
Procure materials and support project leads to keep projects moving efficiently

Paramount is looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Equipment Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering equipment and parts to customers, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring a high level of service with every delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Safely load, unload, and transport equipment and parts using company vehicles, including 3-ton trucks

Complete deliveries accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely (training provided if required)

Assist with warehouse organization, inventory movement, and general yard duties

Maintain accurate delivery records and required documentation

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Support other operational and warehouse activities as needed
Qualifications
